You authorize heystudy and Stripe to charge your chosen payment method for all applicable fees on a recurring basis, depending on your selected Subscription plan.4.3 Renewals and CancellationsUnless otherwise stated, all Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of the applicable billing period for successive periods of equal length at the then-current rate. You may cancel your Subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and you will retain access to paid features until that time. Subscription fees are non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or explicitly stated otherwise by heystudy.4.4 Failed PaymentsIf payment is declined or cannot be processed, we may attempt to reprocess the charge. If payment remains unsuccessful, heystudy reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to paid features until the outstanding balance is resolved.4.5 Price Changesheystudy may modify its pricing and fees from time to time. Any change to Subscription pricing will be communicated in advance, and new rates will apply beginning with your next billing cycle following the notice period. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes your agreement to the modified pricing.4.6 RefundsExcept where required by law, all payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. However, in exceptional cases (such as technical issues preventing use of the Service), we may, at our sole discretion, issue partial or full refunds. To request a refund, please contact our support team at support@heystudy.io within 14 days of the billing date.4.7 TaxesAll prices displayed on the Service are inclusive of applicable taxes, including VAT where required by law. heystudy is responsible for collecting and remitting such taxes under its VAT obligations within the European Union, including through the Union One-Stop Shop ("OSS") scheme where applicable.You will not be charged any additional taxes at checkout unless explicitly stated otherwise for your location.For customers outside the European Union, no VAT will be charged, but local taxes or duties (if any) may apply under your jurisdiction's laws.5. User ContentYou retain ownership of any notes, documents, images, or other materials you create or upload ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant heystudy a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, process, and display your User Content solely to operate and provide the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content, and it remains private unless you choose to share it.6. Acceptable UseYou agree not to use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the functionality or security of the platform or interfere with any other party's use of it. Intellectual PropertyAll trademarks, logos, designs, text, graphics, and underlying software that form part of the Service are the exclusive property of heystudy or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. This includes the design, layout, functionality, and content of the platform, which may not be copied, modified, reproduced, distributed, or otherwise exploited without prior written authorization.You, as a user, retain ownership of your personal User Content — such as notes, documents, or materials you create — but you acknowledge that the platform, its software, and all related technology, features, and design elements remain the sole property of heystudy.
