Summary
A grid is a framework designers use to organize visual material. It can help make a page easier to read and understand while creating relationships among text, images, and other elements.
In graphic design, a grid is a usually two-dimensional structure made from intersecting straight or curved lines. The lines may be vertical, horizontal, or angular. Together, they form a framework for placing graphic elements such as images, glyphs, and paragraphs.
