Summary

Ethical leadership helps an organization identify its purpose, express its values, and turn them into decisions and actions. Because leaders influence strategy, culture, and governance, their conduct can shape how the organization treats employees and other stakeholders.

Leadership is the ability to influence followers to achieve common goals through shared purposes. It is not simply a position of authority: leadership also involves helping people understand what they are working toward and why.
