A useful reflection does more than list the steps you completed. It explains why you made decisions and how those decisions affected the project. Begin by identifying yourself as the composer: your perspective, identity, audience, and purpose all influence how you present an advocacy topic.
Consider why you selected the topic. A personal connection may shape your interest, but your reflection can also explain why the issue matters to the intended audience or community. Describe the work you did during planning, research, drafting, and revising. Identify which stages took the most time and explain why. For example, research may have taken longer because you needed reliable evidence, or revision may have required reorganizing ideas to make the argument clearer.
